Indicative prices for power line poles
The prices below are starting prices (“from”), including VAT, as of September 2026. The final cost is set by a calculation for your project: voltage class, pole type, height, loads and quantity.
| Item | Parameters | Price from, UAH incl. VAT | Unit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Multi-sided poles for 6–10 kV lines | intermediate, terminal, angle-anchor | 55,000 | each |
| Multi-sided poles for 35 kV lines | conductors up to AC 120/27; intermediate, terminal, angle-anchor | 220,000 | each |
| Multi-sided poles for 110 kV lines | conductors up to AC 240/32; intermediate single- and double-circuit (a raised double-circuit one is also available); tension and angle-anchor single-circuit | 350,000 | each |
| Multi-sided poles for 220 kV lines and above | parameters depend on the line’s input data | 450,000 | each |
| Standard lattice poles 35–750 kV | to standard designs; hot-dip galvanising | 110,000 | per tonne |
| Cable-to-overhead transition points (PO-KV) | 35–110 kV; single- or double-circuit | 1,300,000 | each |
Prices are indicative and depend on the type, height and loads. For multi-sided poles and PO-KV the price is per piece, for lattice poles per tonne. An exact cost comes from a calculation.
What the price of a power line pole depends on
Within one voltage class the price can differ considerably. This is not a quirk of the price list: a pole is calculated for a specific line, and every parameter adds or removes steel.
- voltage class: the higher the voltage, the larger the dimensions and the shaft, and the heavier the pole;
- pole type by purpose: intermediate (suspension) poles only support the conductors, while tension (anchor), angle and terminal poles take the difference in conductor tension, so they are designed for larger loads and are usually heavier (Power line pole types by purpose);
- number of circuits: a double-circuit pole carries twice as many phase conductors (six instead of three) as a single-circuit one and is usually heavier;
- height: it sets the mass, the shaft diameter and the foundation (Power line pole height by voltage class);
- loads: the type and number of conductors and ground wires, and the wind and ice regions (Loads on power line poles, Wind regions of Ukraine, Ice loads);
- coating: hot-dip galvanising is the main protection of steel against corrosion, and its cost is covered separately in Hot-dip galvanising cost;
- delivery terms: we clarify them in the calculation.
Per piece or per tonne
Multi-sided poles and PO-KV are sold per piece: the price is set by the series for the voltage class and the pole type. Standard lattice poles are priced per tonne: cost = pole mass under the standard design including the mass of the zinc coating × price per tonne. The catalogue of standard power line poles gives two masses, without and with the coating; the mass with the coating is used in the calculation.
A hypothetical example (the masses and lengths are assumed for illustration): a lattice pole with a mass of 8 t will cost from UAH 880,000 (8 × 110,000). A 110 kV line 5 km long with an average span of 250 m has 20 spans and 21 poles; at the lowest price of multi-sided 110 kV poles that is from UAH 7,350,000 (21 × 350,000) for the poles alone, without concrete work and installation. The real amount is higher: tension and angle poles are heavier than intermediate ones, and heights and loads differ along the line.
Multi-sided or lattice: what to weigh in the budget
The two options cannot be compared by the price of a unit: one is priced per piece, the other per tonne. Compare the cost of the whole line together with the foundations.
| Criterion | Multi-sided poles | Standard lattice poles |
|---|---|---|
| Price unit | per piece | per tonne |
| Foundations | a single-shaft pole needs one foundation; three-shaft poles (35 kV double-circuit, 110 kV single-circuit tension and angle-anchor) have three bearing points each | a free-standing wide-base pole has four legs, each on its own foundation; guyed poles also need anchor foundations for the guys |
| Where used | urban development and constrained conditions, 6–220 kV lines and above | 35–750 kV lines to standard designs |
Details are on the pages 6–10 kV poles, 35 kV, 110 kV, 220 kV and Standard power line poles 35–750 kV.
What is included in the price and what is not
- prices include VAT;
- for standard lattice poles the price is given for the hot-dip galvanised version;
- the scope of supply (including foundation elements) and the delivery terms are fixed in the commercial offer;
- concrete work and installation are not included in the price of the poles: installation is carried out by a licensed construction partner company, and foundations are designed for the soil and the loads (Foundations for masts, towers and power line poles).
Manufacturing lead time
The typical manufacturing lead time is 3–4 weeks if the product is not in stock. For large batches and non-standard poles we confirm the exact lead time after the calculation.
How to get an exact calculation
The more complete the input data, the fewer clarifications and recalculations. Send us:
- the voltage class and the purpose of the poles (intermediate, tension, angle, terminal);
- the number of circuits, and the type and number of conductors and ground wires;
- the wind and ice regions and the terrain type;
- the height to the bottom of the crossarm and the number of poles of each type;
- the technical specification, drawings or a questionnaire, if you have them.
If you do not know something, leave it blank and we will clarify. More in the article How to order poles and masts. On choosing the spacing between poles, see Distance between power line poles.

Power line pole prices: frequently asked questions
How much does a power line pole cost?
It depends on the voltage class and the type: multi-sided poles for 6–10 kV lines from UAH 55,000, 35 kV from UAH 220,000, 110 kV from UAH 350,000, 220 kV and above from UAH 450,000 each including VAT; standard lattice poles from UAH 110,000 per tonne. An exact price comes from a calculation.
Why does the price list say “from”?
The price depends on the height, the pole type and the loads within one voltage class, so “from” is the starting price. For your line we calculate the cost from your input data.
What is the difference between a price per piece and a price per tonne?
Multi-sided poles are sold per piece, standard lattice poles per tonne: price = pole mass under the standard design including the mass of the zinc coating × price per tonne. So compare the cost of the whole line, not the price of a unit.
What is not included in the price of the poles?
Concrete work and installation. Installation is carried out by a licensed construction partner company. The scope of supply (including foundation elements) and the delivery terms are fixed in the commercial offer.
How much do cable-to-overhead transition points cost?
PO-KV for 35–110 kV lines in a single- or double-circuit version start at UAH 1,300,000 each including VAT. Orders are defined by a questionnaire, and the final price comes from a calculation.
