What the steel fittings for concrete poles include
The steel fittings are used to fix the overhead line hardware and insulators for the wires. They include: ties G, bolts B, brackets R, RA, U, fixings U, G, KI, extensions TS, plates OG, caps OG, support frames, OT guys, conductors ZP, spacers, crossbars, shackles SRS, staples KM and OT, braces, TN and TM cross-arms, earth-wire posts, OT units, struts, clamps Kh, hinges and pins OG.
Classification of concrete poles for 0.4–10 kV lines
- suspension: on straight sections, support wires and cables; 80–90% of all poles on a line
- tension: at crossings of structures and obstacles and when the wire grade, section or number changes; take the difference in wire tension
- angle: where the route changes direction; suspension angle poles for angles of 15–30°, tension angle poles above 30°
- dead-end: at the start and end of the line
By design the poles are portal (with guys or internal bracing), single- and multi-post free-standing and guyed; by number of circuits they are single-, double- and multi-circuit.
Corrosion protection
All steel elements are coated with BT-577 varnish or, by special order, hot-dip galvanised.

How to draw up a specification for an enquiry
A list of “designation, quantity” is enough, for example: ТМ 3 cross-arm, 10 pcs; ОГ 1 pole head, 10 pcs. Take the drawing numbers and masses from the tables above: they let you estimate the mass of an order at once (in the example, 10 × 21.0 + 10 × 7.8 = 288 kg, as per the typical drawings).
