Our services
We carry out the services in Ukraine: prices are quoted in hryvnias (hot-dip galvanising — UAH 20–38 per kg including VAT), and delivery terms are agreed in the contract.
- Hot-dip galvanising: corrosion protection of steel by immersion in molten zinc, including the inside of hollow products; coating requirements are set out in DSTU EN ISO 1461:2024.
- KM and KMD design: layouts, calculations and detail drawings from which the structure is fabricated in the factory.
- Lighting calculation: mast layout, the number and power of floodlights and illuminance levels for stadiums, streets, parks and industrial sites; free of charge.
- Technical inspection: a survey of buildings and structures (including steel structures), verification calculations and a report with recommendations. On the signs of wear and corrosion of metal poles, see Wear and Corrosion of Metal Poles.
- Rotor balancing: dynamic balancing of the impellers of induced draft fans, fans and other equipment to reduce vibration.
- Machining and tooling: stamping dies, extrusion dies, rolls and parts to drawings.
- Greenhouses: design and manufacture of galvanised greenhouse frames.
- Sheet metal bending: bending long, thick sheet on a press instead of welding a part from several pieces.
- Steel fabrication: poles, masts, lattice towers and products to drawings, from sheet cutting to galvanising.

Before galvanising, read the checklist for preparing a structure: vent holes in hollow parts, welds, surface cleanliness. Product dimensions can be checked against the bath size in the galvanising cost calculator.
Scope of quality control
If a particular type of testing is needed, for example ultrasonic testing of welds, state it in the enquiry. We do not perform X-ray testing, so tell us in advance if the design requires it. What we check in the shop is covered in Quality Control of Steel Structures.
Lead times and when we state them
For poles, masts and steel structures the typical lead time is 3–4 weeks if the product you need is not in stock. The exact time depends on the complexity of the product, the volume, the shop workload and the quality control requirements; we name it after the calculation.
Lead times for bending, galvanising, machining and tooling, design and technical inspection depend on the complexity of the job, the volume and the completeness of the input data; we name them after the calculation and agree them before work starts.
Services: frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum order?
There is no minimum order for hot-dip galvanising: we accept single items as well as batches. For other services we determine the price and lead time from the brief for the specific facility or product.
What are the largest products that can be galvanised or bent?
The galvanising bath is 13,000 × 1,600 × 3,200 mm (length × width × depth); it limits the size of a product, so we check the dimensions against the drawing. Longer items such as poles are galvanised in sections. Sheet for bending can be up to 25 mm thick and up to 12 m long.
Can design and manufacture be ordered from one company?
Yes. We prepare KM and KMD drawings, bend, fabricate and galvanise ourselves, so the order need not be split between contractors.
What are the lead times?
For poles, masts and steel structures that are not in stock the typical lead time is 3–4 weeks. For bending, galvanising, machining, design and technical inspection, as well as for one-off orders, we give the time after the calculation.
What quality control do you perform?
Incoming metal inspection, dimensional checks, visual inspection and ultrasonic testing of welds, zinc thickness measurement, laboratory control; the welders are qualified. We do not perform X-ray testing. More: Quality Control of Steel Structures.
What should I send if I have no drawings?
A sketch with dimensions or a description of the facility, the steel grade, the quantity and the coating requirements. Missing KM or KMD drawings can be ordered from us: KM and KMD design.
