Street and Yard Lighting Poles: UMO and UKO
Residential-area poles for lighting streets, yards, walks, boulevards and pedestrian zones: multi-sided UMO and tapered UKO.

Contents
Residential-area lighting poles
Residential-area poles are put up in housing blocks, along walkways and boulevards, and in pedestrian zones. They are light and simple to install and service.
Steel grades S245 and S255 (to DBN V.2.6-198:2014), wall thickness 4 mm. Coating: hot-dip galvanising to DSTU EN ISO 1461:2024. We make the poles in our own workshop.
Roads and interchanges are lit with other types of poles and masts (see “Road lighting poles”).
Prices of UMO, UKO poles
Indicative prices per piece including VAT (September 2026), excluding brackets, anchor cage, delivery and installation. All ranges and what the price includes: Lighting pole prices.
| Range | Purpose | Heights | Price, UAH incl. VAT per unit |
|---|---|---|---|
| UMO | Multi-sided street poles | 5–12 m | 9,900 – 26,000 |
| UKO | Conical street poles | 3–12 m | 5,100 – 27,500 |
Lighting the streets of cities and villages
We design street and yard lighting for cities and other settlements: the working design for the lighting and the poles for city and village streets. Where there is no mains supply, we offer autonomous solar lighting.
The poles are erected by a licensed construction partner company. Foundations of various types are used. We select lanterns and luminaires together with suppliers and work with many luminaire manufacturers.
Prices for poles and luminaires depend on type, height and power, and a taller pole costs more than a short one. An extra paint coat adds to the cost. Brackets, including non-standard decorative ones, are not included in the pole price: they have a separate price list.

Scope of application
The same basis applies to UKO (Caer = 1, terrain type III): permissible total luminaire area for each wind pressure, with Q and M as the loads at the pole base. For UKO-3, UKO-4 and UKO-5 the areas are given only for 500 and 600 Pa (from the product cards); a dash means there is no value for the other pressures.

Selecting a pole by luminaire area and mass
There is no need to look up the permissible luminaire area in the “Scope of application” table by hand. The pole selection calculator by luminaire area and mass compares your luminaires with these data and shows which poles suit the height, wind region and mounting scheme.
