Price of the UKO-8
Price of UKO poles: from UAH 5,100 to 27,500 each including VAT (as of September 2026), a range for the whole height series. The UKO-8 price within it depends on height and fit-out; the exact price comes from a calculation — tell us the quantity and the delivery place.
The price includes the galvanised shaft and the inspection hatch. The FPO-1000-1 anchor cage, brackets, crossarms, delivery and installation are priced separately.

Where UKO-8 is used
The UKO-8 lighting pole is used for luminaires, floodlights and video surveillance equipment. It suits trench and overhead cable supply and is also used in private housing estates and other sites.
The UKO-8 suits local streets and residential driveways. With one-sided spacing the mounting height must be at least the carriageway width, so a road up to 8 m wide is its range; with staggered two-sided spacing, up to 12 m.
The hatch at the bottom of the pole is standard. On request we make the pole without a hatch, in a hinged version with a hinged anchor cage, and paint it any colour.

Installation and foundation of the UKO-8 pole
The UKO-8 pole stands on a foundation anchor cage: it is placed in the formwork and concreted with the foundation in advance, and the pole flange is bolted to the anchor bolts. More in Foundation anchor cages FPO, FPM, FKM and Lighting pole foundations.

Material and corrosion protection
For steel 4 mm thick, ISO 1461 requires a mean zinc coating thickness of at least 70 µm (local at least 55 µm). How it is checked: Zinc coating thickness.
The UKO-8 pole in numbers
The pole mass is 98 kg, about 12.2 kg per metre of height. The diameter decreases from 156 mm at the bottom to 60 mm at the top, by about 12 mm per metre.
UKO-8 for a 7 m wide street: luminaire and spacing
Take a street with a 7 m carriageway and a one-sided layout: the mounting height should be no less than the carriageway width. That means 8 m poles, such as UKO-8. Check a 0.3 m², 12 kg luminaire on a single-arm bracket. The limit is 0.911 m² at 400 Pa and 0.636 m² at 500 Pa, so there is a margin. On top the pole allows 1.17 m² at 400 Pa, up to 50 kg. A two-arm bracket takes 0.379 m² in total at 400 Pa, so two 0.2 m² units no longer pass. Guide spacing is 24–32 m. The lighting calculation sets the final value.
