Price of the UKO-9

Price of UKO poles: from UAH 5,100 to 27,500 each including VAT (as of September 2026), a range for the whole height series. The UKO-9 price within it depends on height and fit-out; the exact price comes from a calculation — tell us the quantity and the delivery place.

The price includes the galvanised shaft and the inspection hatch. The FPO-1200-2 anchor cage, brackets, crossarms, delivery and installation are priced separately.

Where UKO-9 is used

The UKO-9 lighting pole is used for luminaires, floodlights and video surveillance equipment. It suits trench and overhead cable supply and is also used in private housing estates and other sites.

The UKO-9 is used on district streets, where 8–10 m poles are typical in practice. With staggered two-sided spacing it covers a strip of about 13.5 m, with opposite spacing up to 18 m.

The hatch at the bottom of the pole is standard. On request we make the pole without a hatch, in a hinged version with a hinged anchor cage, and paint it any colour.

Permitted luminaire area on the UKO-9

Permitted total luminaire area on the UKO-9 (Caer = 1, terrain type III) at different wind pressures; Q and M are the shear force and bending moment at the pole base. Check your own luminaires in the pole selection calculator by area and mass.

Installation and foundation of the UKO-9 pole

The UKO-9 pole stands on a foundation anchor cage: it is placed in the formwork and concreted with the foundation in advance, and the pole flange is bolted to the anchor bolts. More in Foundation anchor cages FPO, FPM, FKM and Lighting pole foundations.

Matching parts for the UKO-9

  • Anchor cage: FPO-1200-2 — 1200 mm high, anchor bolts M24, 4 pcs.
  • Brackets KO1 and KO2: KO1(2)-1-1-1.5 (one arm) and KO1(2)-2-1-1.5 (two arms) — the load table is calculated for them.

Material and corrosion protection

For steel 4 mm thick, ISO 1461 requires a mean zinc coating thickness of at least 70 µm (local at least 55 µm). How it is checked: Zinc coating thickness.

The UKO-9 pole in numbers

The pole mass is 114 kg, about 12.7 kg per metre of height. The diameter decreases from 168 mm at the bottom to 60 mm at the top, by about 12 mm per metre.

UKO-9 at a wind pressure of 500 Pa

For Vinnytsia or Dnipro W0 = 0.47 kPa, so we read the 500 Pa column. Here UKO-9 allows 0.852 m² on top and 0.642 m² on a single-arm bracket. A two-arm bracket leaves only 0.25 m² in total. A pair of 0.2 m² luminaires therefore does not pass. One 0.3 m², 12 kg luminaire on a 1.5 m outreach does. For two arms at this pressure UMO-9, with a 0.459 m² limit, is the better match. At 400 Pa the UKO-9 limits are higher: 1.172, 0.932 and 0.388 m². Guide spacing is 27–36 m; the anchor cage is FPO-1200-2. Mass is limited to 15 kg per arm and 50 kg in total on top. The final spacing for a given street is set by a lighting calculation.
