Price of the PLO-7

Price of PLO poles: from UAH 4,400 to 10,400 each including VAT (as of September 2026), a range for the whole height series. The PLO-7 price within it depends on height and fit-out; the exact price comes from a calculation — tell us the quantity and the delivery place.

The price includes the galvanised shaft and the inspection hatch. The FPO-800-1 anchor cage, brackets, crossarms, delivery and installation are priced separately.

Where PLO-7 is used

The PLO-7 lighting pole is meant for luminaires, floodlights and video surveillance equipment. We recommend PLO poles for trench cable supply: in parks, squares, villages and other sites.

In the park range, 7 m poles suit wider alleys and open areas: the higher the mounting height, the wider the lit strip, but the lower the illuminance under the luminaire. The PLO-7 lights a strip up to 7 m wide with one-sided spacing and up to 14 m with opposite spacing.

The hatch at the bottom of the pole is standard. On request we make the pole without a hatch, in a hinged version with a hinged anchor cage, and paint it any colour.

Permitted luminaire area on the PLO-7

Permitted total luminaire area on the PLO-7 (Caer = 1, terrain type III) at different wind pressures; Q and M are the shear force and bending moment at the pole base. Check your own luminaires in the pole selection calculator by area and mass.

Installation and foundation of the PLO-7 pole

The PLO-7 pole stands on a foundation anchor cage: it is placed in the formwork and concreted with the foundation in advance, and the pole flange is bolted to the anchor bolts. More in Foundation anchor cages FPO, FPM, FKM and Lighting pole foundations.

Matching parts for the PLO-7

  • Anchor cage: FPO-800-1 — 800 mm high, anchor bolts M20, 4 pcs.
  • Brackets KO1 and KO2: KO1(2)-1-1-1.5 (one arm) and KO1(2)-2-1-1.5 (two arms) — the load table is calculated for them.

Material and corrosion protection

For steel 3 mm thick, ISO 1461 requires a mean zinc coating thickness of at least 55 µm (local at least 45 µm). How it is checked: Zinc coating thickness.

The PLO-7 pole in numbers

The pole mass is 60 kg, about 8.6 kg per metre of height. The diameter decreases from 145 mm at the bottom to 60 mm at the top, by about 12 mm per metre.

Which luminaires the PLO-7 allows and how often to place poles

On the PLO-7, a 2-arm bracket nearly uses up the margin: 0.138 m² at 400 Pa, 0.054 m² at 500 Pa. At 600 Pa this option is not permitted. The top accepts 0.615 and 0.414 m², a 1-arm bracket 0.408 and 0.231 m². Take a 0.25 m², 10 kg luminaire. On top it passes at both pressures. On a bracket it passes only at 400 Pa, since the 500 Pa limit is 0.231 m². So the typical layout for the PLO-7 is one luminaire on top. If you need two arms, the PMO-7 with a 206 mm base and a 0.555 m² limit at 500 Pa fits. A pair of 0.25 m² luminaires fits there. Mass must not exceed 50 kg on top and 15 kg per arm. Spacing is roughly 21–28 m, refined by the lighting calculation.
