Price of the PLO-8
Price of PLO poles: from UAH 4,400 to 10,400 each including VAT (as of September 2026), a range for the whole height series. The PLO-8 price within it depends on height and fit-out; the exact price comes from a calculation — tell us the quantity and the delivery place.
The price includes the galvanised shaft and the inspection hatch. The FPO-800-1 anchor cage, brackets, crossarms, delivery and installation are priced separately.

Where PLO-8 is used
The PLO-8 lighting pole is meant for luminaires, floodlights and video surveillance equipment. We recommend PLO poles for trench cable supply: in parks, squares, villages and other sites.
In the park range, 8 m poles suit wider alleys and open areas: the higher the mounting height, the wider the lit strip, but the lower the illuminance under the luminaire. The PLO-8 lights a strip up to 8 m wide with one-sided spacing and up to 16 m with opposite spacing.
The hatch at the bottom of the pole is standard. On request we make the pole without a hatch, in a hinged version with a hinged anchor cage, and paint it any colour.
Permitted luminaire area on the PLO-8
Permitted total luminaire area on the PLO-8 (Caer = 1, terrain type III) at different wind pressures; Q and M are the shear force and bending moment at the pole base. Check your own luminaires in the pole selection calculator by area and mass.

Installation and foundation of the PLO-8 pole
The PLO-8 pole stands on a foundation anchor cage: it is placed in the formwork and concreted with the foundation in advance, and the pole flange is bolted to the anchor bolts. More in Foundation anchor cages FPO, FPM, FKM and Lighting pole foundations.

- Brackets KO1 and KO2: KO1(2)-1-1-1.5 (one arm) and KO1(2)-2-1-1.5 (two arms) — the load table is calculated for them.
Material and corrosion protection
For steel 3 mm thick, ISO 1461 requires a mean zinc coating thickness of at least 55 µm (local at least 45 µm). How it is checked: Zinc coating thickness.
The PLO-8 pole in numbers
The pole mass is 67 kg, about 8.4 kg per metre of height. The diameter decreases from 145 mm at the bottom to 60 mm at the top, by about 11 mm per metre.
PLO-8 limits for luminaires and spacing
The PLO-8 is the tallest in the series, and the constant 145 mm base matters most here. On top at 400 Pa it allows 0.397 m², 5.5 times less than the PLO-3. At 500 Pa: 0.232 m². For a 1-arm bracket the limits are 0.226 and 0.079 m². A 2-arm bracket is possible only at 400 Pa, with 0.05 m², and is not permitted from 500 Pa. A small 0.15 m², 8 kg luminaire on top passes at both pressures. On a bracket, only at 400 Pa. For brackets, the PMO-8 is better: 0.392 m² on two arms at 500 Pa. Total mass on top is up to 50 kg, per arm up to 15 kg. The cable comes in through a trench, with no overhead line. Spacing is roughly 24–32 m, finalised by the lighting calculation.
