Price of the PMO-4

Price of PMO poles: from UAH 5,000 to 17,000 each including VAT (as of September 2026), a range for the whole height series. The PMO-4 price within it depends on height and fit-out; the exact price comes from a calculation — tell us the quantity and the delivery place.

The price includes the galvanised shaft and the inspection hatch. The FPO-800-1 anchor cage, brackets, crossarms, delivery and installation are priced separately.

Where PMO-4 is used

The PMO-4 lighting pole is meant for luminaires, floodlights and video surveillance equipment. We recommend PMO poles for trench cable supply: in parks, squares, villages and other sites.

The PMO-4 belongs to the main park range: parks, squares and courtyards mostly use 3–6 m poles. With one-sided spacing such a pole lights a strip up to 4 m wide (a path, a yard); with staggered two-sided spacing, about 6 m.

The hatch at the bottom of the pole is standard. On request we make the pole without a hatch, in a hinged version with a hinged anchor cage, and paint it any colour.

Permitted luminaire area on the PMO-4

Permitted total luminaire area on the PMO-4 (Caer = 1, terrain type III) at different wind pressures; Q and M are the shear force and bending moment at the pole base. Check your own luminaires in the pole selection calculator by area and mass.

Installation and foundation of the PMO-4 pole

The PMO-4 pole stands on a foundation anchor cage: it is placed in the formwork and concreted with the foundation in advance, and the pole flange is bolted to the anchor bolts. More in Foundation anchor cages FPO, FPM, FKM and Lighting pole foundations.

Matching parts for the PMO-4

  • Anchor cage: FPO-800-1 — 800 mm high, anchor bolts M20, 4 pcs.
  • Brackets KO1 and KO2: KO1(2)-1-1-1.5 (one arm) and KO1(2)-2-1-1.5 (two arms) — the load table is calculated for them.

Material and corrosion protection

For steel 3 mm thick, ISO 1461 requires a mean zinc coating thickness of at least 55 µm (local at least 45 µm). How it is checked: Zinc coating thickness.

The PMO-4 pole in numbers

The pole mass is 36 kg, about 9 kg per metre of height. The diameter decreases from 168 mm at the bottom to 60 mm at the top, by about 27 mm per metre.

How to match a luminaire and spacing to the PMO-4

With the PMO-4, first decide where the luminaire will sit. At 400 Pa the top accepts 2.688 m² and up to 50 kg. A 1-arm bracket with a 1.5 m outreach takes 2.003 m² and up to 15 kg. A 2-arm bracket allows 0.913 m² in total, 15 kg per arm. At 500 Pa the limits drop to 2.08, 1.516 and 0.679 m². A housing heavier than 15 kg therefore goes on top only. A pair of luminaires of 0.3 m² and 12 kg each adds up to 0.6 m² and fits both cases. On the PLO-4 the same pair fails at 500 Pa: the limit there is only 0.383 m². The cable reaches the PMO-4 through a trench, so the bracket carries no wires. Poles go roughly 12–16 m apart; the lighting calculation fixes the exact spacing.
