Price of the PKO-9
Price of PKO poles: from UAH 3,800 to 16,600 each including VAT (as of September 2026), a range for the whole height series. The PKO-9 price within it depends on height and fit-out; the exact price comes from a calculation — tell us the quantity and the delivery place.
The price includes the galvanised shaft and the inspection hatch. The FPO-1200-2 anchor cage, brackets, crossarms, delivery and installation are priced separately.

Where PKO-9 is used
The PKO-9 lighting pole is meant for luminaires, floodlights and video surveillance equipment. We recommend PKO poles for trench cable supply: in parks, squares, villages and other sites.
In the park range, 9 m poles suit wider alleys and open areas: the higher the mounting height, the wider the lit strip, but the lower the illuminance under the luminaire. The PKO-9 lights a strip up to 9 m wide with one-sided spacing and up to 18 m with opposite spacing.
The hatch at the bottom of the pole is standard. On request we make the pole without a hatch, in a hinged version with a hinged anchor cage, and paint it any colour.
Permitted luminaire area on the PKO-9
Permitted total luminaire area on the PKO-9 (Caer = 1, terrain type III) at different wind pressures; Q and M are the shear force and bending moment at the pole base. Check your own luminaires in the pole selection calculator by area and mass.

Installation and foundation of the PKO-9 pole
The PKO-9 pole stands on a foundation anchor cage: it is placed in the formwork and concreted with the foundation in advance, and the pole flange is bolted to the anchor bolts. More in Foundation anchor cages FPO, FPM, FKM and Lighting pole foundations.

- Anchor cage: FPO-1200-2 — 1200 mm high, anchor bolts M24, 4 pcs.
- Brackets KO1 and KO2: KO1(2)-1-1-1.5 (one arm) and KO1(2)-2-1-1.5 (two arms) — the load table is calculated for them.
Material and corrosion protection
For steel 3 mm thick, ISO 1461 requires a mean zinc coating thickness of at least 55 µm (local at least 45 µm). How it is checked: Zinc coating thickness.
The PKO-9 pole in numbers
The pole mass is 89 kg, about 9.9 kg per metre of height. The diameter decreases from 168 mm at the bottom to 60 mm at the top, by about 12 mm per metre.
PKO-9: checking a luminaire against wind pressure
The limits for PKO-9 are as follows. On top: 0.801 m² at 400 Pa and 0.561 m² at 500 Pa, up to 50 kg. On a single-arm bracket with 1.5 m outreach: 0.597 and 0.379 m²; on a twin-arm one, 0.227 and 0.124 m² combined, up to 15 kg per arm.
A 0.3 m², 12 kg luminaire on one arm passes at 500 Pa: 0.3 is below 0.379. At 600 Pa the limit drops to 0.237 m², and the same luminaire is no longer permitted. In such an area, use PMO-9 with 0.441 m² on a single-arm bracket, or PKO-9 with the luminaire on top (0.404 m²). On top it barely differs from PKO-8: 0.801 versus 0.812 m² at 400 Pa. The supply cable is laid in a trench, and indicative spacing is 27–36 m.
