What the PMO is for
The PMO is distinguished by its inclined crown and is intended solely for lighting sports facilities. How the mast height and layout are determined for stadiums and grounds is explained on the page Stadium Lighting.
Height and design
According to the catalogue the PMO is 25 to 55 m high, but to the customer’s order we make a mast of any height. The design:
- the mast is fitted with service platforms, fold-out rest platforms for the climb and a caged ladder or a fixed fall-arrest system;
- for easier transport the shaft is made of sections no longer than 12 m;
- corrosion protection is hot-dip galvanising;
- we design it individually for the required illuminance, taking the architectural features of the facility into account.
Designation
The designation follows a scheme: PMO is the mast type, then the support height in metres, the wind region, the terrain type and the maximum equipment area in square metres. For example, PMO-25-3.III-2: height 25 m, wind region 3, terrain type III, maximum equipment area 2 m².
How to order a PMO mast
Send a site plan, the required height, the number and type of floodlights, the wind region and the city. We calculate the design, propose a foundation and quote the price and lead time; erection is carried out by a licensed construction partner company.
