What PM-14 is for
The PM-14 is a 14 m multi-sided floodlight mast of the PM range: a fixed crown and no ladder or service platform. Such masts are installed at road junctions, airports, logistics terminals and dry ports; the whole PM range is covered in PM masts: sizes and anchor cages.
The permissible area of the lighting device depends on the wind region: from 3.4 m² in region 1 (400 Pa) to 2.0 m² in region 5 (600 Pa); the total mass of the lighting devices is 180 kg. The values are given for terrain type III and Caer = 1.
The mast stands on the anchor cage FPM-440-850; the cage sizes of the whole range are in the table of the article on the PM range.
From 12 to 14 m: what changes in the anchor cage
The extra 2 m of platform barely changes the permissible area: at 500 Pa it grows only from 2.53 to 2.56 m². The moment at the base, however, rises from 63.21 to 81.15 kN·m, almost 28 %. The anchors here number 12 and their diameter drops to M27; the anchor cage is FPM-440-850.
In other words, raising the floodlights by 2 m does not let you fit more fixtures, while the load on the foundation grows. The table takes the equipment mass as the same 180 kg for every height: if your floodlights are heavier, a separate calculation is needed.
