What PMS-24.0-B is for
The PMS-24.0-B mast is a steel multi-sided equivalent of the standard PMS and PMZH masts, with no reinforced-concrete post. The floodlight platform stands at 24.0 m, and the overall height with the lightning rod is 31.75 m; the PMS and PMZH marks are explained in Floodlight Masts PMS and PMZH.
A 1.2 m step above the PMS-22.8: when it is needed
Consider this model when the previous one, 1.2 m lower, does not reach the floodlight mounting height you need. The platform is at 24 m and, with the lightning rod, the overall height is 31.75 m. A step this small is the only one in the range: between the other sizes the gap is 2.7 m or more.
The number of floodlights and the area stay the same as for the neighbouring models. So the choice between 22.8 and 24.0 m is made by height, not by capacity: the height is set by the lighting design, so do not round it by eye.
