Forty metres: 54 m² of flag and a shaft in sections

The flag is 6 × 9 m, 54 m². That is 1.44 times the area at 30 m, and its 9 m length is 0.225 of the height, under a quarter; like the 20 m model in the manual series, it is the lowest share in the catalogue.

The shaft is built from sections up to 12 m long with telescopic joints, so at 40 m there are at least four. How a pole like this is assembled and raised is described in Assembling a tall flagpole. The electric drive and remote are standard in the series, and obstruction lights are agreed with the customer separately, since the need depends on location, not height alone.
