What we know about FShL-25-5.I-24

The shaft is tapered and multi-sided: sections up to 12 m long are joined by a telescopic joint, so at 25 m there are at least 3 sections.

Reading the mark: FShL is the series, 25 the height in metres, 5.I the wind region and terrain type, 24 the flag area in m².

Mid-series: a flag almost twice the size

The flag is 4 × 6 m, 24 m² in area. At 20 m it was 13.5 m², so in five metres of height the flag grows 1.78 times. Its length is 6 m of 25, or 0.24 of the height, close to a quarter.

The cable runs inside the shaft, the rotating head swings the flag with the wind, and a lockable hatch guards the winch. It is the only 25 m model in the catalogue, so its nearest neighbours are the 20 m and 30 m ones in the same series. Hoisting is by hand and there is no remote: that comes only with the FShP series, which starts at 30 m.
